NanoBible

A tiny, fast Bible reader that works on almost any phone.

NanoBible comes with no scripture inside it, which is why it is so small: the Android app is well under 100 KB. Instead you load the Bible you want, in any language, the first time you open it. Give it a zip file of a Bible in USFM or USX format and it reads the books straight out of the zip. After that it works with no internet at all.

• Small and quick. Starts in a second and runs on older, low-cost phones (Android 5 and iOS 13 and later).
• Any language, any script. Right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew work as well as left-to-right.
• Your Bible, your choice. Download one from our Bibles page, or use any USFM or USX source.
• Copyright shown. If the Bible you load includes a copyright notice, NanoBible shows it under the text.
• Private. No accounts, no adverts, no tracking. See the privacy policy.
• Phones and tablets. Light and dark themes, and text that stays easy to read on a wide screen.
